We arrived at the Westin Hotel at 10 PM after our wedding reception, only to find they were unable to accommodate our room. I had checked in online that afternoon, but I assume our room was given to someone else. We were bumped to a 2-bedroom villa, but the staff we interacted with was kind enough to not charge us for the night. The person at the front desk also drove out to our villa to bring us necessary toiletries quickly that night, which was very kind.
Not sure why this would happen after checking in online, but it was not a great experience on our wedding night.
